Block Island

After waking up from our economical floating dock in Newport, we started our 25 mile journey to the small island of Block.

After the stressful dockage and an over confident dock hand named Breezy, calling herself the only female dock master in New England (I know, I thought we were in the states too), we were dragged along (by mom) on a 11km walk to see a stupid lighthouse and walk up and down 150 stairs to build an inukshuk and burning 1980 calories. (okay it wasn't that bad (it was actually kinda fun, dodging mopeds and bikes)).

The view was pretty cool :). Then we ate expensive ice cream and went back to the boat for dinner.
